Ok almost a year the hype was out! What is "IT"? Does anyone remember this? "IT" was hype by some really big names...Steve Jobs Said people "will erect entire cities around it", people fought over right to books about "IT" and Jeff Bezos even put "IT" for sale on Amazon.com even though no one knew what "IT" was! With in a matter of days speculation was all over the place for what "IT" could be, alot thought "IT" was a Sterling Engine(pertutual engine) or a motor that could run off of water, whatever "IT" was the inventor was keeping "IT" under wraps... well here we are 12 months later and my friend AH from the UK was the first to send me the real story on what "IT" is... a scooter!?! Not just any scooter, a self balancing scooter that goes 12 mph, won't let you fall off, has no brakes and moves by your thought waves! Yes you heard it right this is not science fiction! As some of you know I have had very limited exposure to snow in my life... 3-4 times max total, and one of those was 4 freakin hour drive home from work when I was in England! Anwyay I'm determind to let Dade experience some snow, so I made a homemade snow gun... and you all know I'm crazy enough to make this work... now if can just get the temperature down low enough here in Texas! would you like to know more?

A rare Saturday entry! Dade and I went ice skating yesterday, he looked like a new born foal out there on the ice at first but after 30 minutes or so he was ready. He went all the way around(holding the rail) by himself without falling once! By the end of the day he was actually skating, sorta, while holding my hand... we had a great time!
Ok I know you've seen the Telezapper on TV this year. It claims to eliminate those sales calls by removing you from the database of the caller. Ever wonder how they work? Slashdot has an article up about it. Well it works by putting those 3 tones you hear when you dial a wrong number in front of every call you answer! Every Call! So your mom calls you do,do,de "hi mom" etc... what a bunch of crap! I say record the tones on the front of your answering machine and be done ... save your $50! or send it to me and I'll record the tones for you!
First Napster and now KaZaA/Music City/Morpheous. Those of you who read my blog regularly will rember how I went on about Morpheous on a few occasions. It was better than Napster in my opinion. Well some judge is trying to impose the same copywrite deal that courts did on Napster... he he the jokes on them! There is no server to shut down! Unlike Napster, KaZaA does not use a centralized server, as a matter of fact when you get on KaZaA you become a server yourself sort of... I won't go in to specifics here but suffice it to say they can't just flip a switch and turn it off. read more about it
