It is with a heavy heart that I have to report our friend has succumbed to cancer.
Julie Michelle Koch Lyons died on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at M.D. Anderson Hospital after a 14 month battle with Metastatic Stage IV Melanoma. She was born July 26, 1972, graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1990, and Texas A&M University in 1995. She was married November 15, 1997 to Brendan Lyons. She is survived by her husband Brendan and children Hallie Ruth (7), Jackson Victor (4), and Kendall Rene (17 months) of Jersey Village. She is also survived by her parents Joe & Shirley Koch of Clear Lake City, her grandmother Ruth Chovanec of LaGrange, her brother Joe Koch and his wife Jacqueline of Baytown, Sisters Angie Jackson and husband Marty of League City, Sherri Bogan and husband Brad of Washington, Texas, and nieces and nephews; and in-laws Dan and Kathy Lyons of Sugarland and brother-in-law Derek Lyons of Boston, Massachusetts.
