Happy Birthday to Dade! Today me son turned 4. Angie stayed home and we took him to D&B and let him run wild. The day was great other than the inevitable fact of the Astros officially losing it. Ughh! Anyway only child, only grandchild... can you say spoiled beyond belief! We now have an animated dinosaur preserve in out living room. incredible...

Ok this is to damn funny! how many of you have seen the Bert is Evil web site? It portrays the popular Seasame Street character in lost of digitaly enhanced photos. Stuff like Bert and Hitler and Bert in the crowd at the JFK assasination. Well look at this! Look closely! That's right he's in the picture! These stupid pro-bin Laden protestors are carrying signs that have Bert on them. They obviously didn't know what they were printing when they went to the internet for the picture.

Today a story about a legend of the internet. About a year ago I was surfin the net, as you do, when I happened upon this page. Here was something very laughable but mostly innocent. "I kiss you" how silly ... something compelled me to read on. It turns out one morning Mahir the guy who's page this is woke up and found all of his phones ringing off the wall. All of the caller were talking about his homepage, it sucked, it was good etc. He tried to pull it up but it would not come up. This guy could not figure out what was happening, he was getting 500,000 hits per day! It turns out someone had commandeered his page and broadcast it to thousands of people, they had changed his words to english and poor english at that and like a virus it had spread!
At this point I thought cute story so what... oh boy was I mistaken! Click on the pictures you sent link. I saw how people were sending in pics they had taken with "we kiss you" and stuff... so I did a search for Mahir on a popular search engine. Like this. WOW! Tons of links! There are tributes everywhere! Mahir Central is a good one. In the end this guy made a ton of money from this and traveled the world because of it. He was on talk shows around the U.S. and across the globe. Incredible!
So here I am at the office today a bit mad that the Astros are playing during the day for every one of the playoff games this round, when it strikes me that today is good day for a long lunch in front of a tv! Off to Jillians! Astros are losing but they come back and tie and then go ahead. Ok only 6 outs to go, better get back to work Astros up 3-2. In my truck I hear that they have one man on and one away good only 5 outs to go. Hop out of the car wait for the elevator, in my office, turn on the radio Braves are up 6-3! WTF! We lost shortly there after. I was mad end of disscussion.
