Yesterday we took Dade to meet his teacher. He walked into his classroom and was immediatly overwhelmed. There was so much to do he just didn't know where to start. He starts Tuesday so we'll see how it goes!

Well we went to Wings last night... ahhh I was needing that! G,J and S went with us too! Later my sister came by and I met D. They only stayed for like 5 minutes though... Tonight we go for orientation at Dade's new school. Did any of you see Family Guy last night!!! He did a TRON outtake! I'm telling you TRON is everywhere! Family Guy overall is very funny catch it if you can. Did anyone see DM on the stupid MTV20 thing last night? DM was great with the arms pumping to Personal Jesus... "reach out and touch faith!", but the rest of the show was crap... that Kid Rock / Billy Gibbons thing was the worst, and what is with all the references to getting drunk and drinking and the tequila bar. I guess it's better than crack or something but it was annoying as hell! ...and then there's the Astros... someone just shoot me please. Put me out of my misery!

Hakeem, we all thought he was a good guy... but why? He has always been a whiner, he always tried to re-negotiate his contract for more money, he has claimed he will fake an injury if he doesn't get his way... the list goes on. I liked Olajuwon because he was good. He brought Houston a championship when no other sports could. He seemed to have the respect of the NBA. He was an all around good citizen. errrr... I guess I was blinded by the ring. Now that I look back on things he was not really all that nice. He was a downright a-hole at times and now... I say good riddance. He wants to leave for a couple of more million when knew the Rockets did not have it to offer. Fine. We are better off anyway... I gotta tell you I do not like basketball anymore. I quit watching the game about 2 years ago when the trend went to me me me highlight reel me me me. Have you noticed that damn near every player in the league has to hang on the rim or shout in someones face, or at the bench, or stand over someone on every freakin shot! I mean they even shout, pump or jump and act like the just won a ring for a damn free throw. I can't tell you how many times I've seen guys one step late getting back down the floor because they were acting all tough because they made a J. Like Earl Campbell said "Act like you've been there before." and get your ASSSSSS back down the floor and play some D DAMN IT! Anyway, as a result of all this BS I quit watchin... hell I'd even have turned down free tix, but now... hmmm maybe I'd like to go see the game when the Raptors come to town just so I can tell Hakeem what sell out he is. UGH... F it I'm too pissed off to write anymore. I.AM.SAM

A friend of mine, from my GDS days, BS came to visit me today, we went to lunch at Red Robin in the Marquee Center, anyway the cool thing is while he was here I was showing him this new server we aquired in a deal we are doing. I thought the tape drive in it was a real POS but it turn out it's a DLT drive which is really good. Cha Ching! Gotta like that!
I think we finaly have Dade warming up to the idea of school, he has gone to saying he "won't have fun there" to "I get to start school soon" ... persistance pays I guess.

Well I had no lunch buddy today... everyone I called was either busy or not there... hmmm is someone trying to tell me something? Anyway yesterday L and myself went to lunch with PG. She used to work here. Boy she is looking good, happy as a clam except for the skin she left on the softball field...ouch, anyway it was good to see her again. Hopefully tommorrow I will be going to the place I mentioned earlier today... see I didn't spoil anything! Ok for those who are keeping up... I figured out how to make a bootable ghost cd or any bootable cd for that matter. I have 11 identical machines that I needed to intall an OS on and configure, one problem, they only have cd drives. So I booted one up flattened the HD, installed my fav OS on it, installed some other software on it, and used Ghost to image the partition. Then I made another bootable cd with Ghost and the image and viola! It takes less than 15 minutes to image up a machine now... to sweet, plus I have a custom "recovery disk" now. Gotta love technology.
For all you geeks out there PCMods has a new version of thier site online, they have the cold cathode light kits and plexi kits for your case mods. I personally have the plexi kit and a regular cool blue neon kit in my case... shweet! Anyway check them out... any reason to use power tools, that is my motto! Honey where is the Dremel???
Meet the baddest man on the planet! Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France for the 3rd straight time, all this is Triple-Bad Ass but he did all this after having testiclular(ouuuch) cancer that had spread through his body. Winning this event 3 times in a row is manly enough, but being a cancer survivor and winning it 3 times after that well that takes SACK ... figurativly speaking. IT'S COMING!!!! One of my all time favorite movies is coming out with a sequel ... maybe! In 1983 TRON came out. The movie was ground breaking in the way it used computer graphics with live action. Zoom ahead 20 years... Tron 2.0. I already own a copy of the DVD but if the new one is better I'll be giving my old copy away!
