Back from a couple of crazy! weekends... 1st I went to Dallas to the NASCAR race, and what a race it was!!! WOW ! We had the best seats we've ever had and the race was exciting through and through. Thanks E and C for the accomidations!
Next I was off to Orlando for conference. It went pretty good. For the first time at one of these I found some time to have a little and went off to Universal Studios. What a hoot that was... anyway while there I to miss a Little League game and it totaly gutted me. So Saturday I get up at 3am central to make my flight so I can be home in time for our 10am game. We are about to land when the pilot tells us that Houston is fogged in and we are going to New Orleans to refuel. We there is no way I am going to make the game this way so I call Angie and set everything up like lineups and what not. The plane lands and I haul ass back, run through the parking lot, all along knowing that we are still winning! I get into the dugout just in time to hear them call the game, our first win and I missed it. ug! At least I was there for the aftermath. 1-7 now I think. Hopefully we can make something of this season still.
After the game was funday in the park, there was a carnival and silent auctions and what not so my friend C and I trooped the event. It was quite fun but amazingly hot!
After the long day... Angie, Dade and I went Double Daves! Which is now open in Baytown! Hell yea! Anyway I am back at work and there is another game tonight. No rest for the weary!
