For those who did not know, Dade accidently hit our dog Daisy in the head ... with his baseball bat the other night.(Monday) She was knocked pretty loopy and he was devastated. It was touch and go with her being in a catatonic state for a little but she seems ok now.
Summer is here... holy cow it's getting hot. I have so much to do and I don;t feel like doing any of it.

Video games were simple back then. As new console games came out they got flashier and flashier graphics but something was missing. I noticed that the lesser console Nintendo made seemed to have better games! That is what I got and I was right. Eventually I got an Xbox and now a 360 but I am looking so forward to the new Wii! I think Nintendo knows how to make fun to play games and that's what it's all about.
I need a break after that vacation! Let's start with the vacation... first is sucked because Dade made the All Star team and we had this vacation planned and thus we had to miss 2 of the 3 games! SUCK! Anyway The vacation ... we went to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio ... mostly to ride the baddest coaster on the planet, Top Thrill Dragster. Now I've blogged it before but for those who don't know it goes from 0 to 120 in 4 seconds then you go straight up and I mean 90 degrees straight up for 420 feet. That's 4 stories folks! Then straight down with a twist for 420 feet then you stop and check your pants. It was the scariest ride I have been on bar none. The park was awesome clean and chock full of rides. A 200 foot coaster a 300 foot 92mph coaster and the biggest mass of wood I've ever seen in a coaster, there were 15 in all and it was great fun! We stayed for 2 days and had a blast.
Still not getting it? Watch this! it's 5 mins long but at the 3:40 mark it shows it going up the hill from right underneath and from that angle you can really get a sense of the speed on this thing... remember it's 42 stories high! It's up there in just a few seconds! --- You think that's bad there are signs saying you might not make it over the top... during testing one did not make it! Worse than that one time it got stuck! AT THE TOP! Video here I bet they were a little freaked!
Meanwhile back in Baytown the team was getting it handed to them. 16-0 then 16-1 loss... I was gutted. We had one game when we got home and we lost it 12-1. Now the kids played better but the parents behaved badly. Seems like there are always parents that are more about themselves than the kids. One parent got hostile after the game even claiming his kid didn't get a fair shake? There was a lot of crap going around and most was being stirred up by one dad. Personaly I am glad it's over. We need a baseball break and all the good vibes I had at the end of the regular season went out the window because of really 2 people. It's a shame to, their kid did not feel slighted even in the least. The thing was someone had to sit sometime, I guess they thought thier kid should not have been the one to sit. At any rate bring on the summer please!
