Measure twice cut once... jeeze! R has told me the manta hundreds of times and yet I do not listen. I set out at the begining of this weekend to make a light box for my movie posters. In the end I made a POS that I had to take apart and rework. It seems as if I got a single measurement wrong in the early stages... of course all of the future measurements being taken from then then fabricated piece were all out of whack too. What a mess! It didn't help that there was a 105 degree heat index out there as well... I'm of the mind now to chuck it all and start over lesson learned. We'll see...

RIAA is at it again! read more... nice... some are fighting back... barely.

Some DA fan knocked Lance Armstrong, who is the baddest man on the planet, off his bike today... he won anyway and got his lead a bit more presentable... one of a million articles...

I leave you with one of the coolest damn things I've seen in a long time! I java NES emulator!!! NES ROCKS!!!!

Ok Hunting for Bambi has been a hot topic for a while now. It's a site that allows you to junt naked females with paintball guns for a large fee. Snopes decided to put it up for judgement on if it is real or not... either way who gives a shit! If that's what you want to do, I'm sure you can find someone willing to take your cash... dingus.

NO TALKING!!! Nice one eBay... talk about a sweatshop!

Again!!!! Hitchcock knew WTF he was doing didn't he! Smart Ass Crows!

All you Directv pirates better look at this! Looks like a lot of innocent people are getting caught up in the mess as well.

The Donkey Kong world Record has fallen! ... people still play the real machine?

Hey what was that ... it was a little breezy out there... No offense but that was the wussiest damn hurricane ever to come our way.

    Search Engine Stuff!!!!

Google tools strike again... Banana Slug seeds your Google search with extra words to hopefully bring new sites to the top of your list. ... why?

Now for something completely different! Kartoo is a flash based search engine that after you get used to is is actually quite cool. The results are displayed visualy with very nice looking and easily understandable graphics.

All the web is trying to be a Google killer. Adding the ability to search for Audio files is a bit sneaky! They keep a running total of indexed web pages on the home page same as Google, just not quite as many.

A long time ago Teoma looked to be a Google killer. It was boasting better results. Lack of content has slowed it down, but the results are usually very very good.

One more... in the WTF were they drinking when they came up with the name department... wisenut.com is a search engine that nearly has as many cached sites as Google... unfortunatley they are always a few months behind... this one has potential though!

wanna have some fun? sever people have sent me this so no one gets credit... but go to google and tyoe in "Weapons of Mass Destruction" and hit I feel lucky... then read carefully !

Enough with the search engine crap!

My friend S sent me this link awhile back and I just got around to it! Funny Ebay Feedback ... hte funny stuff is the response to the feedback!

/. You've no doubt heard that the RIAA is going after the file sharing community? Well Kazaa Lite has a new version out that alledgedly blocks your identity... another volley int he war!

/. New version of Open Office is out! Very cool FREE replacement for M$Office!..."Neat features include built in PDF and Flash export, better MS Office document filters and more!"

Wow what a weekend! Angie and Dade got home safe and sound. I got to hear all about him shooting a .22 over and over. Anyway Friday we all went to see Pirates of the Caribbean, OMG! This movie is great! I will be going to see it again, Johnny Depp makes a kick ass pirate, the SFX awesome and Keira Knightly, move over Natalie Portman. I can't emphasize how much you should go see this movie... Disney finally captures the some of it's old magic! Satuday Angie and I went to see T3... T2 part two... I won't ruin it, it was very good, but after POTC it was just another movie.

I don't know if you all know it but Claudette has not turned yet and is now predicted to hit around Freeport. It's moving about 7mph which is slooooow and this means lots and lots of rain, so better prepare for some flooding. Check storm2003.com for the latest.

Hacking on foot? the NYTimes story talks about something taht is a snap to do. You would not believe how many I picked up just driving home one day! The number doubled in my neighbohood!

You know the old myth about the dead body under the hotel bed? no longer a myth!

How did this woman end up swallowing a fork? ... somethig about a cockroach... acck!

    Many wookies! ... EPIII spoiler!

Just in case you ever needed to make an origami penis, now you can!

    Good night! Stay Dry! samu

It's about damn time the radio got more personal! Here is an article on the streaming of a personal learn you likes and dislikes stream. How cooL!

McDonalds is going wireless... now Starbucks has some comp!

This is the best link I've had in weeks! Matrix Ping Pong at first I thought it was a crappy SFX job but then I realized what it was and how much effort and coordination went in to this! Very inventive!

Ok I have to a big WTF is that !!!! BoyShit

Again in the WTF depart? This mysterious black ring appeared over San Antonio ... At first it was unknown what caused it, but it was later determined to be an explosion caused by lightning... full story.

I'm a little short on time today... that's seems to be the story lately doesn't it...

How young is to young to get a tatoo? It used to be a big deal to pierce your ears, next thing you know they were piercing babies! Well guess what! Baby Ink... a little more permanant than a pierced ear though...

Man in a coma for 19 years suddenly speaks one day, what does he say? He want's to get laid!... read about it here...

Yep Barry Bonds is still a dick... nice.

Happy Belated 4th... I have to comment on Independance Day. It was rainy and dreary but in the end it was quite a nice bang! I had a ton of glow bracelets left over from last years halloween night so I decided to hand them all out at the fireworks display. Dade and I walked around the park handing out 300+ bracelets to the kids for about a half hour. I was great that when the lights went out and you looked down the hill all you could see was glow stuff! Everywhere! I hope that I managed to get to some kids that otherwise would not have gotten anything. I know in my 200 square yards of park there was not a kid that did not have a bracelet! There is not much else to say about this weekend, Angie and Dade took off for Kentucky on Saturday morning and since then I have been nose deep in a computer screen.

Big question, should I RSS my blog data? I'm thinking yes it would be a good idea...

Remember that web hacking contest? Well it turns out to be < ahref="http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/internet/07/06/hacker.day.reut/index.html">no big deal.

The MIT Media Lab is just f'in cool!

Do you wipe back to front or front to back... the answer and to this and more intriguing bathroom questions can be found at the Bathroom Practices Questionaire

Here are some coool images of some very deep water creatures.

Nearly everyone has an injet printer right? Well have you ever stopped and thought of how they work? In a simplitic view they shoot a tiny drop of in the correct spot and when coupled with other ink drops you get a picture... well imagine that on a grander scale. These guys built an inkjet printer that uses spray paint cans for the ink jets!
