A woman walks into a bar with a poodle under one arm and 3 foot salami under the other... crash! TBC! YEA! Have I got lots to tell... Friday - I decided to brave Waterworld again and I'm glad I did! First it was the last Friday they were going to be open this year. Second on Thursday it had rained lights out. Third half of Houston had gone back to school already. So what does all this equal? No lines and sunny weather! It was the best day Dade and I have ever had at WW! He rode slides he had never riden before and wanted to do them again and again! It was great! He even rode some rollercoasters at Astroworld (Greezer and Viper(twice)) Awesome day!
Saturday... Angie forgot her purse when she left for work so I had to bring it to her. We went to see Goldmember that night.
Sunday... I mowed... the rest of the weekend I spent staring at the little screen wishing I was done so I can go and make Halloween stuff!

Nice Weekend! I want to thank my friend L for letting me use his house in New Braunsfels. Awesome. We got up at the crack of dawn on Friday morning and drove straight in to Shlitterbaun, this turned out to be an extremely wise move. It was somewhat crowded but nothing like what we heard about on Saturday. We were hearing horro stories about 2 hour waits to ride the freaking tram to the other parks! The house was great, right on the origin of the Comal river the backyard was actually part of the river! Deer everywhere, they would come right up to the house... v.cool. Anyway I'll have some pics up later this week most likely. I'm a little bit busy today so no links, lots of links tomorrow I promise! i.am.sam
I know nothing yesterday and not much today ... 2 nights ago we went to the Neighborhood night out thing... it was great! They had food and lots of people, jumpers for the kids, a fire truck , an ambulance and 2 police horses there... lots of fun.
BTW LOTR is out on DVD and it is awesome! WOW!
Last night we went to eat that newly reopened Bennigans on I-10 east with G,J and S... it was not bad oh yea and and aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! 84 days 'til Halloween! CRAP!

One last thing that pic I posted is my current project. It's the Cryocan from Jurassic Park, the can they used to smuggle the viable embryos off the island. I'm currently having the guts machined and will be selling them if anyone wants one... $225 yes the pop up just like the movie and no they don't have any shaving cream still in them.

Friday My friend J and I took the kids to see Spy Kids 2 at the Marq*e... well for the second week in a row Spy Kids 2 has not started yet so damn it, we saw Stuart Little 2, again... It was still alot of fun, played putt putt and ate at Red Robin, had a blast!
Saturday We started out getting Angie a new bike from the Bike Barn, pretty nice entry level mountain bike, I really like it. I also bought Dade the Acklay he's been bugging me about for week! After that we went to our friends little girls Bday party out at the wave pool at Eagle Pointe. It was cool, got to see a friend of mine J that I had not seen in ages and and a few others as well... had a blast! We played in the waves for awhile got out ate cake and stuff and then Dade got back in. That is until the freaking hurricane came through! Holy CRAP! it was baddddd! Once we got home we made a big deal out Dade getting to watch Godzilla... out newest DVD from the bargain bin at Walfart.
Sunday Mom's for lunch and home for work... I crammed a ton of work in this weekend in between all the stuff we did. We also managed to watch Time Machine and Resident Evil on DVD over the weekend. It went by way to fast!

Every once in a while something comes along that I just think is bad ass! This is one of those things. DVD Profiler is software that will help track your DVDs. Most of you by now have had the joy of putting a CD in your computer and having the media player or winamp or something look up your cd on the internet and fill in all the song names and artist and stuff. Well this does that for DVDs I can punch in the UPC number or name of a DVD and it will download cover art, special features, screen sizes, audio info, cast and crew ala IMDB. It's very very cool! It has the ability to check out your disc so when your sister or friends take them you can track who has what! Oh yea did I mention the reports ... YES! Anwyay if you have more than one go check it out, it's free with banner ads and $25 for extended features and such. I'm prolly going for the $25 and I don't do that to often!

The next coolest phone I know of is the Sony/Ericson T68 ... well it seems that Sony/Ericson is starting one hell of an ad campaign to promote the phone.
