/. This little story popped up today about the face recognition software and how they are using cameras to scan people walking in the streets and matching them to mug shots... there is no privacy left... match me up and arrest me so I can be the first to get rich from these a-holes.

Ok I was pissed about NASCAR going from a good 'ol boy network to the mainstream media, I was down on FOX when they took over, I thought D.W. was a blowhard, I thought damn it no Benny Parsons no Ned Jarrett... this is gonna S U C K, but hey I'll admit when I'm wrong D.W. toned it down a bit FOX brought enthusiasm and cool technology! That tracking thing rocked! Zoom ahead to race 17 4th of July weekend... Pepsi 400 ie... Daytona race 2! The return to the final resting place of number 3, godspeed, and the hand off to NBC... uh oh! Yes NBC test broadcast last year royaly sucked but hey this time around they got some veterans, Benny Parsons among them... but will we here in Houston get to see it ... N O !!!!!! NBC in thier infinite wisdom has decided to show the Texas Beauty Pagent instead of the NASCAR race... nope not even a replay... I guess Houston being the 4th largest city in the nation doesn't count... way to go NBC damn it! Ok my entry for the day... officialy 4 months from now is Halloween, I better get busy...
The family went to Mom and Dad's for lunch yesterday and I took Dade swimming, and for the first time he jumped in and swam across the pool by himself, I am usually right there in case he panics but he made it fine without me, he was very proud.
I put my Frigit on the fridge in the office this morning... pretty damn cool!
We watched the QAF pilot episode special edition last night very cool... you gotta love the music in this show... I'm jamming to it right now! Hopefully this show won't go the way my other fav shows have...like Sports Night and Freakylinks... I'm looking for Freakylinks episodes if anyone has them...
rain rain go away... anyway the funniest thing happened last night. We were sitting around feeling really bored since our plans had kinda fallen through due to the rain when we decided to go eat at Tia Maria's... We were almost dressed when the phone rings, it's G and J and they are calling to see if we want to go to Tia Maria's! We have never been there with them before... bizzarro!
Well my ANH Luke Saber is getting closer to completion... I'm hoping for pics this week and delivery by August.

Halloween is coming!!!! I haven't prepared anything this year so far... I got a compressor from a deal at Sears the other day so I think I'm about to get nuts and build some air props... gotta go gotta go gotta go!!!!
Speaking of Halloween as you all know I go nuts in decorating my yard, but this year I'm not sure. We have a home owners association forming in July here and I'm not to sure what they are gonna think about my decor. I guess I'll find out out next month...

Yesterday Angie stayed home from work to hang out with Dade and me. We went to the Wave pool at Eagle Pointe. Jaime and his kids were there and we got to play for about 2 hours before the weather got us. On the way out of the pool I ran in to my Ex's dad and her brother! Whoa man last time I saw Frankie he was about 12 now he's grown and has a 6 year old... I guess time does not stand still. Anyway after about an hour of waiting around they let us in only to have a big 'ol thunder clap happen right away and poof that daya was done.
I came home and mowed the grass then we went to dinner with my parents at Baytown Seafood... very good! Coming home we stoped at Blockbuster and saw Paula... we chated for a bit, found out Robbie had the engine out of his car, and I realized how bad I am at not stayng in touch with people... I'm gonna have to work on that.
Anyway I bought Unbreakable and Stripes(OH YEA!) on DVD at Target and we watched Unbreakable last night... pretty good flick...
Oh yea and the Astros lost so I went to bed pissed...
