What a nice weekend it turned out to be... I didn't think about work even for a minute. Now I'm sitting here back in my cave and thinking ugo! When did I start not liking this stuff... well at any rate today should go quickly as I am going to attempt to learn to .NET my way into a QuickBooks database using qbXML. It should be the shit if I can get it to work! As a matter of fact it opens a whole new world into QB programming if/when I get it working by at least an order of magnitude. It's seems boring to some but it's all very exciting to me.
Went to see the 'stros on Friday with G and S and Dade... Crawford box seats and even though we lost it was a great detox for me.
On Saturday we had Dade's Little League swim party... it was pretty cool! Had a blast except for the sunburn we both got!
Also over the weekend my Star Wars geeeeeeeekness showed up again... The Baytown Sun (our local paper) interviewed me for an article that turned into two and a picture! article one and article two the picture is not online. The second article is really about something I said... when the interview was over the reporter was walking to car and saying soemthing to the effect of she didn't know whether or not to see the movie at midnight. I asked her what she would be doing at 12:01 that so important that one of those once in a life moments might be missed... missing a couple of hours of sleep is no big deal as far as I am concerned.
Anyway... t-minus 2 days and a handfull of hours until ROTS.
For those who didn't know or car... the XBOX 360 was officially announced on MTV this weekend. Read about what it is here!
...but not to be outdone this Nintendo Revolution Trailer was leaked... maybe... errr is it real! I have that TECHNOLUST thing going on here! WOW!
You should have seen Star Wars at Bay Plaza like a real Baytonian! Man, that place was a dump and smelled like puke most of the time. I still remember coming out of the theater not believing what I just saw.
https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx Mobile telephone numbers are going to be released for telemarketing practices soon! This link will allow you to stop them on your number for 5 years or you can call 1.888.382.1222 from your mobile phone.
Well Little League is about to come to an end... we only won 3 games so far but believe it or not we still have a shot at the playoffs. It's all a bit bittersweet. Moving on... ROTS countdown!!! 2 weeks! can't wait! I'm thinking midnight movie for the opening, followed by a 10:30a viewing for the office the next day and then that weekend with Angie and Dade. I might take Dade to the midnight screening as well. LISTEN UP FOR ALL YOU OUT THERE SCOFFING AT ME RIGHT NOW! Just because you choose to do nothing does not mean I have to. Every day when I am sweating my ass off on the eliptical machine I think I should stop at 30 and not do the 5 minute cool down... and everyday I have the same response... what good is getting home 5 minutes earlier, how are you going to use that time to enrich your life. Then I pedal a little harder and finish the 5. So When all of you are sleeping on May 19th at 12:01am I will be enriching my life. I will be watching the culmination of a story/saga that has played out for almost 30 years. The story that inspired me as a youth. Star Wars was my cowboys and indians when I was little and this is the finality of it all! Think back to your childhood, no bills, no responsibility, no job, just your imagination. When was the last time you "went out to play!" 12:01am on May 19th for me... Now does scoffing at me make you feel more important or better... enjoy yourself then I will! All that being said... have a link or two...

Make sure you watch Boba, I found it very much hits home. and for those still who agree with my statements above... for those children of SW definately watch the overall winner "For the love of the Film!" ... ok I just watched one more that is great...
