Yes that pic is from the A&M Red, White and Blue out. Those are people in T-Shirts! it's is not retouched, that is how it actually was!

Have you ever wondered where the term "bug" comes from in software? Read this and you will know... it was a moth!

WHOEVER WROTE THIS SHOULD STEP FORWARD AND CLAIM THIS
POEM. THE WORDS ARE VERY POWERFUL:
TWO THOUSAND ONE, NINE ELEVEN (2001-911)

    Two thousand one, nine eleven
Three thousand plus arrive in heaven
As they pass through the gate,
    Thousands more appear in wait
A bearded man with stovepipe hat
Steps forward saying, "Lets sit, lets chat"

They settle down in seats of clouds
A man named Martin shouts out proud
"I have a dream!" and once he did
The Newcomer said, "Your dream still lives."

Groups of soldiers in blue and gray
Others in khaki, and green then say
"We're from Bull Run, Yorktown, the Maine"
The Newcomer said, "You died not in vain."

From a man on sticks one could hear
"The only thing we have to fear.
The Newcomer said, "We know the rest,
trust us sir, we've passed that test."

    "Courage doesn't hide in caves
You can't bury freedom, in a grave,"
The Newcomers had heard this voice before
A distinct Yankees twang from Hyannisport shores

A silence fell within the mist
Somehow the Newcomer knew that this
Meant time had come for her to say
What was in the hearts of the five thousand plus
    that day

"Back on Earth, we wrote reports,
Watched our children play in sports
Worked our gardens, sang our songs
Went to church and clipped coupons
We smiled, we laughed, we cried, we fought
    Unlike you, great we're not"

The tall man in the stovepipe hat
Stood and said, "Don't talk like that!
Look at your country, look and see
You died for freedom, just like me"

Then, before them all appeared a scene
Of rubbled streets and twisted beams
    Death, destruction, smoke and dust
And people working just 'cause they must

    Hauling ash, lifting stones,
Knee deep in hell, but not alone
    "Look! Blackman, Whiteman, Brownman, Yellowman
Side by side helping their fellow man!"

So said Martin, as he watched the scene
"Even from nightmares, can be born a dream."

    Down below three firemen raised
The colors high into ashen haze
The soldiers above had seen it before
On Iwo Jima back in '44

The man on sticks studied everything closely
Then shared his perceptions on what he saw mostly
"I see pain, I see tears,
    I see sorrow -- but I don't see fear."

"You left behind husbands and wives
Daughters and sons and so many lives
are suffering now because of this wrong
But look very closely. You're not really gone.

All of those people, even those who've never met you
All of their lives, they'll never forget you
Don't you see what has happened?
Don't you see what you've done?
You've brought them together, together as one.

With that the man in the stovepipe hat said
"Take my hand," and from there he led
three thousand plus heroes, Newcomers to heaven
On this day, two thousand one, nine eleven

I have been so busy this place has just not been a priority for me! That being said, let's see if I can get back on track! I'm back! For those that did not know I went to Sand Diego this weekend to a conference for Furniture brokers. It was a pretty good time, beautiful part of the country there! Wow! While it was a pretty busy weekend, Saturday morning I found time to walk out to the beach very early. Everything was fogged in so I went down to the water and just watched the waves for awhile. Eventually the fog started to lift right there 100 yards offshore was a shrimp boat! Obviously the fog was worse for him! It was cool though he was having to be dragged by some dude in a dingy... anyway every time they would find something in the nets they did not want they'd chunck it back in and the water would turn white with sea lion pileing on whatever it was. It looked like a giant wet game of smear the queer! When I got back to houston I heard the Texans win against the Dolphins! Holy CRAP!!!

Backing up... Thursday, I'm on my way to work when I hear a clunk like I ran over something. Well pretty sooon the wheel starts whump whumping along like it's going flat. I'm going down the freeway at 70 in a pack so I start to hit the brakes and bam straight to the floor! UH OH! so I manage to miss everyone and coast off the the freeway and into a parking lot. It turns out my bearings seized then exploded! This cascaded to the rotor, the calipers and the spindle. Basically the only thing holding the wheel on the truck was the remnants of the calipers. I'm lucky the wheel didn't just come flying off! at 70!

    Stealth Disco!

Ok I think I'm gonna hurl... well if you have to hurl, hurl in this cup... shuyuh! Seriously THIS is major freaky! It is static but man!

Bloggy data goin haywire...I see my blog for yesterday did not post so I'll power this one in post...
Labor Day weekend... for the bulk of this summer I've been talking to E about going diving. We have to go, we have to go, we have to go... we never did. Finally I said let do this thing I can't stand it any more... screw all the work screw all the other stuff, we're comin up! So we set the date for the long weekend. Now it has not rained in the DFW for 2 consecutive days all summer and we had 3 to work with any one would suffice... the prognosis... a Tropical storm in the gulf about to come ashore south of Galveston, CRAP! and a cold front coming down on the DFW area. Come on! Forecast in DFW rain 4 days straight! Screw it we'll be wet anyway.
We hit the road about 4p when Dade got home from school, we were at E's house by 8:30p and in his new theater watching movies by 9p it was awesome. He has this whole tab tensioned electric screen and an HS10 working. To cool! Checked out a ton of stuff. We also got out is telescope and checked out Mars since it was so close to Earth and all. Great shots, you could see the polar cap... off to hit the hay early rise in the morning...
Saturday 6:30am! Chomping at the bit! Rain is holding off so far! We were heading to Athens Scuba Park for a little fresh water diving. This scuba park was once a clay brick yard, but one day when digging clay they hit a spring and whoops, instant swimming pool. The natural alkalinity of the water makes life almost impossible so the water tends to stay clear and at 7.5 acres and 35 feet deep, it made the perfect dive spot.

...in my best Jaques Cousteau voice"
We arrive at our destination and geared up. Upon entering the water we shocked by the warmness of the water. As we slowly descended the blue depth we surprised to see a Lockheed C140 JetStar sitting on the bottom. On closer inspection we noticed a skeleton sitting the in the cockpit.
... this voice it to irritating... back to normal!
We explored the plane in and out, all of the control panel was still intact and most things still worked. They had guide ropes to find the next wreck which was a small overwing plane. There was a ton to see down there. Almost to much! Boats, a houseboat, 2 cabin cruisers, a golf cart and a motorcycle. One of the coolest things we saw was this old dead tree, very very spooky looking and it had a skeleton hanging from a hangman's noose. Very weird to come across. They also had an underwater maze which turned out to not be as scary as first thought. After a couple of hours of diving split by a 1 hour surface interval. We headed back to E's house. I took some pictures, we'll see if they come out.
The rest of the weekend was great, we played some Xbox watched movies, bought some Halloween props... all in all a fantastic time, can't wait to do it again!

For all of you yahoos out there that said playing video games would get you nowhere... My friend S went out last night playing Golden T (it's a golf video game) anyway by the end of the night he had made about $4000.00. Yes that is $4K! All of the T machines are networked together and talk back to the manufacturer of the game. To get more play they offer money shots where you can pay an extra buck to take a shot a hole in one. Make it and win a prize... the prize last night $1000. Now this is not an easy shot but it is makable, once someone wins on a machine though, that machine is done and will not offer it again. So S and his friend went from bar to bar last night playing to win. Good for him!

Hey guess what back in the 70's Arnold was having sex ... and this is important today because why?

Someone has got a himself in a fit about iTunes... and He's RIGHT!

The thinking machine is coming soon... on August 21st Skynet became selfaware... SCARY!

Dream job... what is your dream job... the more I think about it, money aside I'd ike to be a set dresser, or maybe a Disney Imagineer! I love building illusionary stuff for Halloween so it seems like a natural... I'd have to work computers in there somehow though... anyway look what the latest imagineering feat is... Walking 2 legged dinosaur!

Speaking of Halloween! this Zombie Generator is quite cool! I've been screwing with this all day!

Worms worms worms! ... new stuff everyday! update those DAT files... install that Firewall!

Now that is one Expensize FART! DAMN!

It's what they get... try to rob a blind man with a gun!

    cya!!! i.am.sam

Well we watched LOTR-TTT last night and hooobaby it was guud! It's amazing the amount of effort that went in to this project. They filmed all three films in one shot and they did so with the knowledge the computer software to do the CGI the movie was relying on was not yet invented! All in all a huge risk that paid off in aces!

Since we are talking movies... did you here they are redoing Charlie and Chocolate Factory? Tim Burton directing and rumored to play Wonka... Johnny Depp or Christopher Walken!

Also speaking of movies... the nex trailer for Matrix Revolutions came out yesterday! See it here! You know hwat a Matrix nut I am, I cannot wait!

Since it's a movie kind of day... Have you seen the trailer for Kate Beckinsale's new flick? It's movie about Vampires Vs. Werewolves! done in style simlar to Blade! Underworld
Who's Kate Beckinsale? Well I fell for her in Serendipity but she was also in Pearl Harbor... Now if we could only get her, Natalie Portman and Keira Knightly together... boy howdy I don't care how bad that movie is, it almost like that fighting girls beer commercial...I digress...

Speaking of Blade... It looks as if there will be a 3rd installment in the series. Blade - Trinity

Sequel Sequel Sequel, Remake, Comic Book Conversion! Has hollywood run out of original ideas? It appears so... Dirty Dancing 2 WTF! Did this need a sequel?

I saw a poster for Scooby Doo 2 last time I was at the theater! ugghhh! On the other hand in the non-original category falls ...The Haunted Mansion which after Pirate of the Caribbean I am looking more and more forward to!

We've all heard the naked woman yoga in the park story by now... wonder what all the fuss was about? TSG has her mug shot ... that might clear up some of questions!

Drink your lizard spit and lose some weight now...WTF!

Have you ever seen Ultimate Fighting? The supposedly no rules fighting. Well over the years there have been some rules added like freaking time limits yuk! Anyway there have always been those that said "Those guys wouldn't stand a chance against a real boxer like Tyson!" well guess what! we might get to find out! ... I'll pay for that one!

I like big butts and I cannot lie...

It no secret I'm a child of the 80s... right now I've got this book that has tons of recognizable lines from 80s movies so I thought I might close with one every now and then... if you know what movie it was from leave us a comment so the rest of the world will too...
