Another day in the books... ok I've let it be long enough.
WARNING I AM ABOUT TO TALK ABOUT MATRIX REVOLUTIONS AND THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!!!!!!
End of the movie Neo stops the sentinals.
Neo cannot have superpowers right? This is supposed to be a realistic movie ergo Neo is still in the Matrix. Call it an outer Matrix. Yes Zion is in the Matrix too. Is that air you are breathing? WE HAVE NOT YET SEEN THE REAL WORLD, EVER!
The reason this movie is, is because Neo took the choice the machines did not want him to take. It's known that Zion will fall within a few hours, just like the Oracle knew Neo would knock over the vase, he's done it 5 times before! However, THIS time Neo chose the wrong door, and THIS time Trinity did NOT die(even thought the Architect said he could not save her!) and THIS time Neo took his power to the outer Matrix!!!! What does all this mean? In my opinion Zion is not going to fall now that Neo has some ability to fight back in the outer Matrix. He's going to wake up and realize what is what and fight back. This will make the 6th itteration of the One be different than all the rest. I also think that the presence of agent Smith in the outer Matrix is something the Architect might not have planned on or be aware of. Agent Smith is kinda like the Mellissa virus, he was an Agent program that had parameters to keep him in control but some small miscalulation in it's coding allowed him become a rouge program, kinda like the Frenchman who I think might have been one of the earlier Ones. The Frenchman survives because he uses backdoors into and out of all areas of the Matrix. This why he despeartly wants to keep the Keymaster, his own private little backdoor hacker. As a programmer this is very cool to see in the plot, I hardly ever write anything that I do not have some backdoor way to manipulate my own code! Anyway now that you have Agent Smith replicating out of control ala Mellissa and now having jumped over into the outer Matrix, the whole of the Matrix has huge problem...
Still don't buy into the outer Matrix thing? How did the Oracle "know" that Trinity would fall in love with The One? She, who is definately a program in the Matrix, could not have possibly known what would happen in the real world could she?
Ok the why doesn't the Matrix just kill the 1% instead of setting up an outer Matrix... simple the Matix is a set of rules, the sheeple just flow within the rules. The Matrix has no way of know which ones accept and which don't but by setting up some outer matrix rules they are able to convince the 1% that they are free and they are able to give them a place to herd up (Zion) making it easy to wipe all of them out in one swat!(the destruction of Zion) So yes they are going to eliminate the 1% and this is the method... like moths to a flame.
What does all of this mean? How will it end?
O the Animatrix DVD there is a short called Matriculated... In it the machine is taught to love the humans or realize that what he was doing was wrong, they did this by putting the machine into a Matrix and then showing him the light so to speak, this is possibly the biggest spoiler for Revolutions of all! What if once Agent Smith is replicated to 1000s or millions he is taught by Neo, Trinity and Morpheus that what he is doing is wrong and he is fighting for the wrong side. As in Matriculated Smith chooses to fight for the humans... In the trailer to Revolutions Morpheus says "...he fights for us?!" Who is he talking about? No one knows for sure but, hmmm turning the machines on themselves could very well be the ending of the Matrix.(aka Tron on steroids)
Of course as I've said before this all could just be a big game of The Sims too.
Have I baked your Noodle yet? Still think that Reloaded was a crap movie, thin on plot and long on SFX? We have not even begun to touch on the philisophical and religious aspects of the move! FREE YOUR MIND!!!!
END OF SPOILERS, I NOW RETURN YOU TO A NORMAL BLOG....
This is great! Someone went through all of the Harrison Ford movies and found the frame of film where he gave someone the finger... they are all here... only on the internet! Awesome!
Remember before IT became Ginger and then the Segway? There was a meeting of the biggies... here is an excerpt from that meeting... very good reading!

I hate AOHell anyway they seem to being doing something right in my opinion. They are going to drop the Blackberry and start using the Sidekick... story
Another day another weekend another f'ing itch! Yes I am infested with that vile weed called poison ivy AGAIN! OMG!!! Posion Ivy by itself and intact will not harm you. Only once you have damaged the plant does it produce an oil that will bond to your skin after 6 hours. Once bonded it cannot be removed and from that point forward you will have to deal the the aftermath. The bad news, for those 6 hours anything you touch can get the oil transfered from you to the item, so if you say sit on your couch, you now have PI oil on the couch waiting for the next victim. This stuff does not break down either... it can be there for 6 months waiting for you to touch it and bam! reinfestation! I HATE PI!!!
In the long line of hey that is just damn cool comes... cable clock
I've often been very proud to be a Texan. Today i got an email, and it may not be true and if I find that it is not true I'll remove this but until then here is the email I recieved today... it warms my heart to no end.
Glad to live in a state where our soldiers and sailors are respected...
What follows is a message from Vicki Pierce (a member of my church here in Highlands Ranch) about her nephew James' funeral (he was serving our country in Iraq):
I'm back, it was certainly a quick trip, but I have to also say it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. There is a lot to be said for growing up in a small town in Texas. The service itself was impressive with wonderful flowers and sprays, a portrait of James, his uniform and boots, his awards and ribbons, his boots. There was lots of military brass and an eloquent (though inappropriately longwinded) Baptist preacher. There were easily 1000 people
at the service, filling the church sanctuary as well as the fellowship hall and spilling out into the parking lot.
However, the most incredible thing was what happened following the service on the way to the cemetery. We went to our cars and drove to the cemetery escorted by at least 10 police cars with lights flashing and some other emergency vehicles, with Texas Rangers handling traffic. Everyone on
the road who was not in the procession, pulled over, got out of their cars, and stood silently and respectfully, some put their hands over their hearts, some had small flags. Shop keepers came outside with their customers and did the same thing. Construction workers stopped their work, got off their equipment and put their hands over their hearts, too. There
was no noise whatsoever except a few birds and the quiet hum of cars going slowly up the road.
When we turned off the highway suddenly there were teenage boys along both sides of the street about every 20 feet or so, all holding large American flags on long flag poles, and again with their hands on their hearts. We thought at first it was the Boy Scouts or 4F club or something, but it continued .... for two and a half miles. Hundreds of young people, standing silently on the side of the road with flags. At one point we passed an elementary school, and all the children were outside, shoulder to shoulder holding flags ... kindergartners, handicapped, teachers, staff, everyone. Some held signs of love and support. Then came teenage girls and
younger boys, all holding flags. Then adults. Then families. All standing silently on the side of the road. No one spoke, not even the very young children. The last few turns found people crowded together holding flags or with their hands on their hearts. Some were on horseback.
The military presence...at least two generals, a fist full of
colonels, and representatives from every branch of the service, plus the color guard which attended James, and some who served with him ... was very impressive and respectful, but the love and pride from this community who had lost one of their own was the most amazing thing I've ever been privileged to witness.
I've attached some pictures, some are blurry (we were moving), but you can get a small idea of what this was like. Thanks so much for all the prayers and support.
Well my mom is doing better, hopefully she goes home here in a bit. Dad, well he works at the chem plant that burnt up last night... he has no idea if he's supposed to go to work or what? It looks like the fire might not have affected the area he is working in but then again it might have.
Jerry Springer is considering running for the U.S. Senate! WTF? Run Jerry Run is a site dedicated to the exploration of such a thing. First Jesse Ventura, now Springer and Schwarzenegger. Sheeze!
We've all had Force Feedback joysticks and or controllers. Remember the old James Bond flick where they got shocked? Well get a load of this! X-SHOCK!
These geniuses decided to see if a cd would explode at high speed rotation... in true jackassian fasion they videoed the destruction... insanity!
Ok for those who have seen Matrix Reloaded... is that air your breathing? Do you think Neo can really and truely stop a sentinal in the real world? :) You can only come to one to conclusion about that if you think it through.
For those who like the series I will say the Animatrix is very very kick ass... The kid in Zion... where did he come from? watch the Animatrix and see... also Enter the Matrix... wow to cool it's just like being in the game! Last night I dove off a second story balcony, went into slow motion firing shots taking out bad guys as I, in slow mo, was falling, backwards only to land with a flourish... even Angie stopped what she was doing and said "wow! that was cool!" It's just like being in the movie and the premis of the game is based on an event that happens in the Animatrix and set's up Reloaded! Noodle baking time! BTW Reloaded got banned in Egypt.
Sorry no time for a blog today... I'm off to see my mom who just got done with her surgery. She's apparently doing great and chattering away trying to burn off the nervous energy she had built up. I'll blog a real one tomorrow... sam
It looks like the RIAA is at it again! These people are going to alienate everyone and backlash is going to be severe, they need to find a compromise before there is a global boycott... they are treading on such thin ice it just kills me.
To cool this is Gollums MTV acceptance speech for Best Digital Performance.
The Linux Rocket ... how cool is that! A linux powered rocket complete with onboard telemetry and all open source!
This is a cool Photoshop contest site. Currently showing Martha's new digs! Funny!
Ok now we know the real reason for all the camera phones out there... ... I want one!
I know I was short last week, well we went to Vegas! so I wasn't around to be doin no bloggin'
Thursday
Let's see M,K,E,C,J,A,M,L and Angie and Me went to Vegas this weekend! To cool! Had a blast! It started in hail of thunderstorms and the plane was delayed by weather, of course the plane was clearly there and the delay seemed to be for nothing but there you go, this was only the start of the trouble! With that many people we decided to split a couple of cars, we reserved a minivan and a neon at THRIFTY. Remember that name as I will never go there again! When we pulled up in the lot I knew there was a problem as the lot looked pretty empty and there was no minivan in sight! Sure enough they didn't have a minivan and want to give us a behemouth 12 passenger schoolbus! We didn't want the beast since we were going to be in parking garages and stuff and parking that thing was going to be trouble. So we told them that was not an option. Next they tried to give us 2 mid sized cars, our luggage would not even fit in them. We had agreed to this though because we had no other option, there was not a full sized car on the lot and they said they would knock off a days worth of charge. Well this was fine and dandy except how does the excat same car come out with a $15 total price difference... round and round, every person in our group took a turn screaming down the clerk and the manager. Finally after 2 and half hours all the paperwork is right, when a minivan pulls in. Scrap all of this we'll take the van, we got a free day on the mid sized still though so it all worked out except for the time and turmoil part.
So we get to the Nugget and check in, it's now 9pm-ish and everyone is flat out starving, so we decide to go for the Nugget buffet, it's right here, we have this 2 for 1 deal, get it. I did, only I think I ate to much shrimp, because later that night I broke out in red splotches all over my freaking body... I mean everywhere! I was an itch machine! Luckily, sort of, I was still recovering from my poison ivy so I had an arsenal of pills and cremes to combat this crap. For the rest of the trip I was popping Benadryl like M&Ms. It kept it at bay for the most part, the last break out occured on the way home, so it was enought to stay with me for the whole trip. We did manage to gamble and see the light show. I learned alot about craps and had a pretty good time watch M and E get smashed on football beer.
Friday
I woke up very early and could not sleep due to the itchys, so I went down and played some Let it Ride. On my 5th hand I got a pair of Queens so naturally I let all three of my $5 bets ride. First card Queen, cool 3 of a kind... it would be so cool if that other card was a Queen... BAM! 4 of a kind, it paid 50 to 1 plus a bonus! Alright this trip is starting out kick ass! Little did I know there would not be another time on the whole trip where I would win anything bigger than $40 or so.
So on to the strip...right off the bat everyone was complaining that their stomach kinda hurt... damn that buffet! Despite that we ended up at the Strat... it was time to conquer The Big Shot it's the little part at the top... I pussed out last time I was there and it has bothered me since. The Big Shot is on top of the Stratosphere Casino so before you even get on the ride you're almost 1000 feet up! It's completely un-nerving to even walk around this thing with the floor to ceiling glass that angles out at a 45 degree angle much less board a ride that is going to fire you straight up into the air 145 more feet pulling 4 Gs, then turn around and fire you down then up then down etc. Insane! Look how high you are! ugghhh well 7 of us did it and I then damn near all 7 of us passed out! I was scared shitless before it started but once it took off I was cool... not some of the others there is a picture of some of us floating around that is to funny, what looks of terror. Anyway after taht was done it was on to eat lunch... ESPNzone at New York New York. Cool! After that some of us went back to the Nugget to chill, gamble, take another pill and clean up. That night we went back to the strip, saw half of the Pirate Show at Treasure Island, saw the Volcano at The Mirage and went to the new Aladdin. After that a loooooong drive down the strip back to the downtown area for gaming! Lost, lost, lost. damnit! 2:30, bed, sleep, itch.
Saturday
Slept kinda late, but after the forces gathered, we went to the Nascar Cafe at the Sahara for lunch, once the bellies were full we decided to ride Speed the ride... Played at the Sahara for abit but I was losing so I quit, the rest took over a table and played Blackjack for an hour or so. Next it was on to the Venetian, but it was a short stop as we need to get back to get ready for the big night, M and L were getting married!!!!
At 8 a strech Ford Excursion picked us all up at the hotel and by the time we were half way down the strip, they were hitched! Mom listened in on the cell phone. The wedding was great, afterwards we went up and down the strip for a couple of hours and had a few beverages... fun fun fun. Then it was back to the casino for the last night of gambling! We hooked up went to the Four Queens, now when you are at a craps table it's supposed to be loud, we were, and they ran us off. I don't think they realized we were the whole table, but screw them... I'm sure no one has ever cussed in Vegas before, or been loud at a craps table. Please! Over to the Freemont where we proceeded to take over another table and get it on. For about 2 hours we had people standing 3 deep trying to see what they hell was going on while we played... I won for a change! The night finally wraped about 3am for me, we were getting up at 6am to head for the airport!
Sunday
6 am came waaaay to early. We all managed to be in the hallway when it was time to go, we dropped the cars caught the shuttle and and walked in to the airport over an hour before the flight... to see a line the snaked through half the damn airport! Holy crap we ended up in line at the baggage pickup! Anyway right when we get to the front of the line they tell us our plane is leaving and to hurry to the gate WTF? It's still a half hour to go? So we hurry hurry hurry and get on the plane. Angie and I were on row one and we could see there was trouble. Within a few minutes the captain came on and told us about a part problem and we were going to be delayed by a 30 minutes to sit tight and they would get the part from another plane... 45 minutes later they told us it would be at least four hours for the part to come from California! We deplaned and while everyone else on the plane decide to grab some airport chairs, we headed for the Bellagio... we ate dinner in the sports book while watching the Nascar race... and later played some games(lost) and finally found our way back to the airport just in time to wait some more... Finally they roll up the plane and we get on. We back out, and head for the runway where proceeded to wait for another freakin hour! before finally taking off... damn it! We did get a meal voucher for our trouble and they stole a movie from another plane for us to watch. We ended up getting back 6 hours late... at least all of our luggage was there.
It's coming!!!!!! Dig that music I want that for my site! Be sure and watch the trailer! v.cooL!
Going home now to see the rest of the Animatrix... free your mind! Red pill or Blue? Causality?!? The Merovingian says your choice is not yours to make... Rush say "even if you choose not to decide you still have made a choice!"
Animatrix comes out today... As it turns out The Animatrix and Enter the Matrix(the game) are both integral to the complete story. You're not missing out if you don't see them but you you're also not getting the complete story.
