Halloween - Coffin Prop |

Coffin
I built my coffin in a single day. I simply laid down on a piece of card board and traced out my outline.
from that basic shape I started making a few measurements and 5 2X4s and a couple of sheets of plywood later you can
see the results.
After I had painted the coffin I bought some satiny material from WalMart and got after it with my staple gun.
The first year the coffin was out there we put someone inside it and made the kids open the coffin to
receive their candy, this proved to be to traumatic for a great number of kids... let's just say I had a
ton of candy in my yard where kids would run away screaming and just drop everything, it's now a static
prop but I may "air power" it this year.
