Watched Gross Pointe Blank last night... John Cusak is a very entertaining actor. Very enjoyable show to watch.

Ok only if you are freak about LOTR will you know what was supposed to be said, but this is still quite funny. Engrish TTT Captions yes Engrish!

Do you use IE? Have you recently noticed your homepage has changed and there is some new toolbar on your system? You are not alone! Wired and Slashdot point out "the most evil thing on the Internet" is the new toolbar from Xupiter. It installs itself, then resets your homepage. Then keeps itself loaded when you try to remove it! NASTY NASTY NASTY!

I don't have much more to say so I'll leave you with some cool eye candy type stuff...
Crash Media site was ok mixer thingy rocked!

The State of Union... I guess I am becoming more Republican all the time! I just cannot get over what I hear when the Dems spout off. Is it just me or do they have a platform at all? It seem as though Bush did not have any Dem bashing at all and that guy from the Dems all he did was bash Bush. Half of the words he spoke were "tonight you heard Bush wants this but we want this other thing..." It's always the same too... Take from the rich and give to the poor. Did anyone even read the thing I had about taxes about 10 posts back? It kills me that because this country is mostly supported by the top 10% of wage earners that they would want to not give those guys a break, instead they would rather take more $$$ from those 10% and give it to the other 90% of the country! No wonder the top 10% are looking for ways to hide money from the tax man... give him an inch and ... On top of that Bush wanted to cut taxes equally across the board... does this not sound fair to you? Incredible... and with the Iraq thing... my dad sent me a joke today that really does illustrate this thinking!

The Difference Between The Liberal and Conservative "Debate" Over The War On Terrorism:

Question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner and is running at you while screaming obscenities. In your hand is a compact 9mm and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?
    Liberal Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that is inspiring him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation? Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to kill me or would he just be content to wound me? If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me? This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for a
few days to try to come to a conclusion.
    Conservative Answer:

    Texan's Answer:

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! click... (sounds of magazine being ejected and fresh magazine installed)

Wife: "Sweetheart, he looks like he's still moving, what do you kids think?"
Son: "Mom's right Dad, I saw it too..."
Daughter: "Nice group, Dad, but you wouldn't have needed so much ammo with a .45!"

I know it's funny but it's true! We told Saddam 11 years ago disarm or else... he didn't, we told him again more recently disarm or else, he didn't, so then we told him show us you've disamed or else(the most recent U.N. Resoltuion)... or else what!?!?
Two years ago the Dems told Bush get the U.N. resolution before you move on Iraq, HE DID! No! Wait they said, you didn't ask congress for permision so HE DID and they GRANTED IT! Now, they are saying no wait you have to ask again! BULLSHIT! We are starting to look like pussies! The Dems, who have no platform to stand on, either hope the economy goes tits up or/and we do not go to war with Iraq. If either of these thing happen they are sunk. Guess what the economy is turning around, it's slow and but it is growth check the numbers for yourself! and you know what putting your politics and your re-election chances before the safety of my family and my country! What if your wrong, what if we wait and you get elected and then they nuke every city in the US with a dirty nuke or some of that Anthrax that we KNOW they have! What then! Assholes! You heard what Bush said last night! He gave you 3 smoking guns and Hans Blix gace you an unfavorable report as well, and how do you respond... by trying to pass another bill requiring, yet again, permission from congress to move forward.
Stepping off the soapbox.... sorry about that! Let's lighten up a bit...

Better go look at this site quickly I see C&D coming any day now!

I think an open source encylopedia is such a brilliant idea! This should have been done sooner!

Before 911 THE event that floored me more than any other was the day the Space Shuttle exploded. I was youngish in college and this event was a huge wake up for me... maybe we couldn't do anything, maybe the 80's were to good to be true! Yesterday was the anniversary of that event. Challanger explodes on this day in 1986. I was gutted for several days after this. Even now as I read the story it send chills down my back!

    LOTR Cliff's notes...

Sony has rasied the bar yet again!!!!! Damn 2.0 megapixels and all that other stuff makes this thing damn tasty! until the bill comes! 800 clams! Ouch!

The Germans are just now gettting potato guns which I am about to build one BTW! Didn't this fad pass ages ago?

    enough... I'm spent..

Prolly gonna be a short one today... weather's changing and it's got my head hurting! We watched feardotcom last night... big fat suck! Don't waste your time. The internet has been runnning sloooooowwww for me today.. they aledgedly have the Slammer or Saphire under control... WTF!

Speaking of Slammer... Practice what you preach MS!

Chalk one up for the little guy! This 16 year old wrote a web browser could be 600% faster than the likes of NS and IE!

You know those magic eye things that were popular a few years ago... did you know you can do the same thing with regular objects? Some examples can be found here. Quite cool when you do not have a headache!

Another cooool looking movie is coming soon.

Ok all you females out there... do not get mad at me about this but ... Proof that Girls are Evil ... which brings us to this maybe that explains why THAT is so difficult! Since I am being totaly sexist right now... have a look at this and this. Let the flames begin...

Superbowl weekend! Snooooozzzzeee... if I had to pick 2 teams I did not want to see play it owuld have been these 2. I like Mike Allstott and that is it! Snooze'ville! Anyway Friday Angie and I took Dade to see Kanagaroo Jack... pretty cool! It was not bad at all... then the hilight of the weekend, I know this sounds crazy but I found a copy of Pee Wee's Big Adventure in the $5 bin at Walfart. Anyway Dade wanted to watch something else but we ended up putting this on on Saturday night. First did you kjnow this was directed by Tim Burton? COOL! Secondly if you have not seen this in awhile it's worth seeing again, I laughed and laughed so hard that my teeth dried out from smiling. Damn! "No I really am in Texas listen... The stars at night are big and bright!" and then there's the part where he can't remember anything from falling off the bull, 10 cowboys standing around him and he says "I remember, um, I remember, The Alamo!" and of course who could forget the whole "tequila" dance! v.funny!

The word is out if we go to war with Iraq, we are going to throw twice as many missles at them in 2 days as we did in the whole damn Gulf War last time.

Speaking of war P sent me this video from an AC130 gunship put the f'in hurt on some Taliban camp and cave. It's 7 minutes long and if you watch closely you can see the bodys flying near the end... damn they put the hurt on these guys!

Did you guys think the SuperBowl Ads were a bit lacking this year? I think the upside down guy wanting a hotdog was funny and the Zebra thing was cute. If you missed them they are here. But be warned they are slow right now!

One of the ones that did stand out was the Matrix ad for the 2 new movies this year... yes 2 one in May (Reloaded) and then one in November (Revolution). See the trailer here they have a dedicated server just for the trailer so you can get it. WOW! It looks damn cool! This brings up a subject I've approached before. The Matrix if heavily influenced by some serious religious undertones! My friend E sent me this link eons ago but I think it illustrates the point so well. Just to wet your whistle, isn't it odd how Neo aka the One (Neo rearranged) dies and is resurrected? and along the way he is betrayed by Judas errr Cypher and what happens at the end of the movie? He ascends... into heaven. very interesting paralells here.

BTW if you noticed the internet being slow this weekend you weren't the only one. The Slammer virus ran wild all weekend infecting SQL servers around the world and at one point almost crippling the internet with a sort of denial of service attack. CRAZY!

HA!80's humor find a ton more at T-Shirt Hell!

Are these people for real? I keep hearing about this 3 dimensional printing but damn this wild!

It turns out that all you women on the pill are being influenced on your relationships. interesting stuff

For those of you still dating, this sounds different?!?

What do you get when you cross a Viper V10 500HP engine with a 4 wheeled motorcycle... INSANITY!!! This is the concept from Chrysler called the Tomahawk... a potential top speed of nearly 400 miles per hour(no on has been brave enough yet) and a 0-60 time in 2 second range! Holy Crap hang ON!Tomahawk

A G4 and a PC in one case! COOL!

I got this working with my 'vox and my D-link card today... if you see me in front of your house with piece of chalk in my hand it's time to switch channels and disable your wep and maybe turn on the encryption.

    Can you believe we survived?

If you lived as a child in the 40's, 50's, 60's or 70's.

Looking back, it's hard to believe that we have lived as long as we have...

As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. Riding in the back of a pickup truck on a warm day was always a special treat.

Our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paint. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors, or cabinets, and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets.

(Not to mention hitchhiking to town as a young kid!)

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle. Horrors.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then rode down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times we learned to solve the problem.

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day.

No cell phones. Unthinkable. We played dodgeball and sometimes the ball would really hurt. We got cut and broke bones and broke teeth, and there were no law suits from these accidents. They were accidents. No one was to blame, but us. Remember accidents?

We had fights and punched each other and got black and blue and learned to get over it.

We ate cupcakes, bread and butter, and drank sugar soda but we were never overweight...we were always outside playing. We shared one grape soda with four friends, from one bottle and no one died from this.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo 64, X-Boxes, video games at all, 99 channels on cable, video tape movies, surround sound, personal cell phones, Personal Computers, Internet chat rooms ...We had friends. We went outside and found them. We rode bikes or walked to a friend's home and knocked on the door, or rung the bell or just walked in and talked to them.

Imagine such a thing. Without asking parent! By ourselves! Out there in the cold cruel world! Without a guardian. How did we do it?

We made up games with sticks and tennis balls and ate worms and although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes, nor did the worms live inside us forever.

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't, had to learn to deal with disappointment.....Some students weren't as smart as others so they failed a grade and were held back to repeat the same grade.....Horrors. Tests were not adjusted for any reason.

Our actions were our own. Consequences were expected. No one to hide behind. The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke a law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law, imagine that!

This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers and problem solvers and inventors, ever. The past 50 years has been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.

Two times in 24 hours I was asked about an install of Kazaa so here we go...
Kazaa is BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD!!!! If you are running Kazaa please read the following.

I am reluctant to even tell you this but it's worse for me to stand by and watch these things perpetuate across the internet, DO THESE THINGS AT YOUR OWN RISK, I am only trying to educate the masses here! Verify what I am saying for yourself before you go messin up your computer. I would say it is worse to just stand by so here it goes...

First Uninstall Kazaa... Kazaa has this network thing that you agreed to when you installed the software! that will allow them to use your computer as thier own little private network and have access to all files on you machine. You machine could also be used in a distributed computing exercise. Read for yourself here now if that's not bad enough... this article states "well now Kazaa, Morpheus and LimeWire are sneaking ... if you buy a CD from an affiliate of, say some charity, the software fools Amazon into crediting the commission to Morpheus[Kazaa], not the charity!"

There's more but you can read that stuff for yourself ... go to and type Kazaa in the search... be prepared there is alot of info here...most of not favorable for leaving this installed on your machine.

Ok you've uninstalled Kazaa next install Ad-Aware and see how many spyware/adware things you have on your system remove what you can... be careful this will make some things not work! Alot of things rely on the ad software being on your machine, you should just be aware of it being there. Again if you remove everything it will break some programs. Do the research before you go willy nilly removing ad/spyware.

Next install KaZaa lite. No Spyware! No Adware! ahhh p2p much mo' better!

Finally go to and have a clickfest! Read the forums... watch out for those fake files and enjoy. When clicking on a sig2dat file here it will not appear until you shut down and restart Kazaalite. You do not even have to have Kazaalite running to click away. Once you start Kazaalite after clicking all the sig2dats you want everything will appear queued up in the transfers. Sometimes they need a kickstart however... just do a find more sources... that will get it going.

Now on to more fun things...
This guy scanned a vinyl record with is scanner and was able to extract the music from the image! Now that is kinda cool!

Selling your computer stuff on eBay? Careful now... Discarded computer hard drives prove a trove of personal info. Some guys bought a bunch of used hard drives on eBay and then data mined tons of personal info from them... credit card numbers, love letters and medical info... plus more they are not telling about!

Remember the Speak and Spell? Well someone had a good time hacking it into a... um... just go see it! Wow! Be sure and click the photos so you can see the extent of the madness!

Need an online game to kill some time... have a play of this. Fun!
Another one there is A pocket full of stars ... have the lot!

    have fun
